CAMPCAMP CAPTAINS 2020
OUR CAMP CAPTAINS ARE BOTH EXPERTS IN THEIR FIELD
AND AT BRINGING GOOD VIBES.
They're up to some cool s**t in Vancouver and host sessions where they spread their mad skills
and share their passion.
They facilitate the raddest workshop, encouraging you to try new things, play nostalgically, move your bod and dig deep.
MORE CAPTAINS BEING ANNOUNCED SOON
Carolyn is a dreamer, maker, dog mom, and seasonal van life adventurer. Happiest in the sun or by the sea, she created Pen to Paper as a creative resource for collecting, remembering and exploring your story through journal writing. This will be her second year at camp and she is most excited to debunk "I have nothing to write about" by encouraging people to put pen to paper. She believes things to write about are all around you. All you have to do is listen, observe, and record.
Explorer, photographer, hiker, mountaineer, skydiver, motorbiker, kayaker, climber. Let's go on an adventure! Avi has spent over 20 years exploring the world both in his personal and professional life, harnessing a wide of skills he's picked up along the way to help get in places and situations that would raise a few hairs. He loves empowering people by setting them up with tools to tell their own story.
CAPTAIN BIG SWEAT
Marlon is a business leader, social connector, brand ambassador and fitness guru. His passion for people, movement, community and impact show up in everything he does. As leader and ambassador in the fitness community, Marlon is excited to bring his fun, challenging and people-led version of a workout to CAMP CAMP.
Julie is a lover of movement - when she's in motion, she feels the most at home. This is what has driven her to a career in fitness. She believes that through movement we can show ourselves that we are committed, we are dedicated, we are free to choose and we can overcome something today that we didn’t think was possible yesterday. We are capable. You can expect to feel like a kid again, like you are the fastest, can climb the highest, and in the end, you can find yourself eyes up to the sky, laying in the grass with a smile on your face.
CAPTAIN TIK TOK
My name is Kelsey and I have a lil blog and Instagram account, @kelsey_tries where I attempt to reach mega-influencer status. Every week on my channel, I do a series called TikTok Thursday, where I navigate the app and share what the kids are up to these days. Spoiler alert: it’s terribly cringeworthy. As a millennial, I fear for the content I would have made as a 15-year-old on there. Oh also please note, no one should ever take anything I say too seriously.
During the week I run a private nutritional consulting firm called My Edible Advice helping people with their digestion. The rest of the time, I Mum hard and that involves building a lot of forts, going on a ton of adventures, and making endless amounts of snacks.

With a major focus on mental health and wellness outdoors, she has been professionally guiding Sea Kayaking, Hiking, and White Water Expeditions throughout western Canada for years. Raïssa urges others to dive deep into their hearts and minds outdoors– to the roughest, most compressed areas- and come out with the diamond.
